Here’s what you’d do:

We are currently seeking a Project Manager with extensive field experience who can manage and build large-scale commercial landscape site development projects from inception through completion.

You’d be responsible for:
  1. Uncovering customer’s “points of pain” and developing solutions
  2. Building and maintaining trust-based professional relationships
  3. Working at a fast pace with a high sense of urgency
  4. Collaborating with the operations team leveraging their expertise
  5. Ensuring construction services are delivered per contract specifications, on budget, on schedule, and with high quality
  6. Managing cost reports, analyzing budget variances, and recommending strategies to lower project costs
  7. Ensuring timely and accurate monthly job billings
  8. Assisting in change order preparation and coordinating receivables and collections
  9. Serving as the main contact and trusted advisor to customers on project issues
  10. Demonstrating ethics, integrity, and promoting company culture
  11. Completing projects within budget and deadlines
  12. Delivering regular reports on financials, schedules, and budgets
  13. Inspecting field work and resolving issues
  14. Managing labor force and subcontractors
  15. Maintaining activity logs and production reports
  16. Dispatching labor and equipment to sites
  17. Managing equipment utilization and maintenance
  18. Representing the company with clients, architects, contractors, and subcontractors
  19. Managing tools and equipment logistics
  20. Ensuring safety and operational efficiency
  21. Communicating company goals and fostering teamwork
  22. Promoting safety, quality, and customer service culture
You might be a good fit if you have:
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction with extensive field experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Construction Science, or Construction Management (preferred)
And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong work ethic
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Customer service experience
  • Driven, disciplined, and focused
  • Coachable and trainable
