Job summary

ARCO a Family of Construction Companies in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion.

This role requires 3–5+ years of PM experience with design-build exposure and proficiency in Procore, Bluebeam, and MS Project. You will collaborate with owners, designers, and subcontractors to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of project management experience.
• Design-build experience preferred.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects from inception to completion.
• Oversee estimating, contract negotiations, proposal prep, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement and execution.
• Coordinate with owners and design teams on preliminary concept drawings.
• Lead proposal meetings to review scope and identify value engineering opportunities.
• Oversee subcontractor buyout and selection; conduct biweekly site meetings.
• Plan, organize and manage multiple activities to achieve results.
• Maintain quality by evaluating project processes and meeting client expectations.
• Demonstrate integrity and support for company values.

A Day In The Life

• Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of construction projects, including estimating, contract negotiations, proposal preparation, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution
• Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate
• Work closely with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings
• Participate in the proposal meeting with the owner to review the scope of work, discuss ways to reduce costs, and provide value engineering ideas
• Oversee the buyout process and the selection of subcontractors
• Conduct biweekly job site meetings on site
• Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to accomplish desired results
• Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes
• Make sound decisions under tight deadlines to meet/exceed internal and external client expectations
• Act in a manner of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and associates

Necessary Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of project management experience
• Highly prefer design-build experience
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g. Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project)
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related field required
