Denver Public Schools is seeking a Facilities Project Manager to lead design and construction for the District Bond program. You will oversee teams supplying design services and contractors, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery within budget.
The role requires coordinating with architects, construction consultants, and internal stakeholders while maintaining clear communication about schedule, scope, and impacts across projects. A Colorado driver’s license and residency are required.
Manages facility design and construction projects for the District Bond program, including teams providing design services and the contractors building them. Plans, organizes, coordinates, evaluates, and directs activities of specific projects in areas of specialization, such as mechanical and electrical engineering, HVAC, environmental engineering, landscaping, and other service contract providers. Ensures that the District’s buildings are safe, aesthetically pleasing, economically maintainable, energy efficient, and functionally sound to meet all programmatic requirements. Follows all established processes for project management completely and in a timely manner, ensuring all projects meet scope, schedule and budget. Provides clear documented communication for all parties associated with the project.
