sstjobs is seeking 4 experienced Project Managers for direct hire with a national company that designs, constructs, installs and restores prestressed concrete tanks in Weatherford, TX.

This long-term opportunity offers a competitive $90k–$110k salary, relocation for the right candidate, benefits, and a role that involves coordinating contracts, schedules, and field teams. Travel is required up to 80% of the time and a valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CM/Civil or equivalent with 1-3 years PM experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Understand contract documents, plans, specs and addenda.
• Understand safety, quality and schedule requirements.
• Prepare startup packages with cost and budget info.
• Create CPM schedules and maintain look-ahead schedules.
• Coordinate with Draftsman for shop and formwork drawings.
• Gather submittals with subcontractors and Purchasing.
• Review BOM, POs and WOs for procurement.
• Review EPIR and CCTS cost reporting weekly.
• Report project costs at monthly WIP meetings.
• Handle change orders and delays with Owner/GC/subs.
• Facilitate timely closeout with required docs.

Job description

Seeking 4 experienced Project Managers for direct hire, long-term opportunities with a national company that designs, constructs, installs and restores prestressed concrete tanks in Weatherford, TX.

Pay: $90k-$110k (Depending on experience)

Schedule: Mon-Fri (7am to 5 pm)

Travel: 80% as needed (Domestic). Must have a valid driver’s license

Per diem is available and travel expenses will be reimbursed

Responsibilities for Project Manager

• Develop a complete understanding of the contract documents for the assigned project, including but not limited to the executed contract, project plans and specifications and addenda.
• Develop a complete understanding of the safety, quality, and schedule requirements for assigned projects.
• Prepare startup packages including contract documentation, job cost and budget information and project documents for on-site Superintendents.
• Prepare CPM project schedules based on project requirements. Maintain a look ahead schedule and update CPM schedule based on changes to the look ahead schedule.
• Coordinate with the assigned Draftsman in the preparation of shop drawings, formwork drawings and other drawings for use in construction.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and the Purchasing Department to gather submittals for all parts of the project to meet the project requirements
• Review Bill of Materials, Purchase Orders and Work Orders and approve material procurement for each project.
• Review and prepare weekly EPIR and CCTS job cost reporting.
• Review and report on project cost information at each monthly WIP meeting
• Maintain coordination, change order, and delay issues with Owner, GC and subcontractors as applicable to the contractual relationship on the project.
• Facilitate timely closeout of projects by coordinating submission of all necessary documentation for project completion.

Requirements for Project Manager

• B.S. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or similar, or an equivalent technical degree plus 1-3 years of Project Management experience or 3 years of related Project Management experience.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Valid Driver’s License, with a clean driving record and Insurance

Preferred Qualifications

• 30 Hour OSHA Certification
• Concrete industry experience.
• Proficiency in Bluebeam software.
• Proficiency in Autodesk DWF Composer.
• PMI-CP Certification.
• First Aid, CPR, and AED Certification.
• Professional Engineer preferred
