AEON Staffing Group is seeking a Project Manager to lead C&I solar EPC projects nationwide. The role centers on translating contracts into detailed execution plans, managing budgets, timelines, and coordinating with engineering and construction teams to deliver on schedule.

The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, excellent communication, and deep knowledge of utility interconnection, commissioning, and QA/QC procedures; experience overseeing personnel and refining SOPs in fast-paced

Qualifications

• Must have experience managing C&I solar projects and knowledge of commercial rooftop solar EPC workflows.
• Strong budgeting and cost-tracking capability for C&I solar programs.
• Proven leadership, communication and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of utility interconnection, commissioning, and AHJ inspections.

Responsibilities

• Translate contract documents into detailed project execution plans and final schedules.
• Own the project budget and track costs against forecasts, manage change orders.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to maintain construction schedules and logistics.
• Monitor progress against scope, ensure QA/QC and compliance with codes.
• Track permits, inspections, and regulatory filings as required.
• Serve as primary customer contact during construction and provide updates.
• Oversee punch list, commissioning, and utility interconnection.

Compensation: $100,000 to $160,000 per year

Job Overview

Our client, one of the fastest-growing commercial solar engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) companies in the nation, is looking to bring on a Project Manager to support their growing volume of commercial solar projects across the nation. This role is a full-time position with our client.

Job Responsibilities

• Completing project planning & mobilization tasks such as: translating contract documents into a detailed project execution plans, finalizing project schedules, milestone dates, and deliverables, and working with the engineering team to ensure deliverables are attained in a timely manner.
• Owning the project budget and tracking costs against forecasts while managing change orders
• Working with internal construction stakeholders to maintain and update construction
• schedules, coordinate procurement, delivery, and logistics of equipment, and ensure construction team have adequate labor resources
• Monitoring daily and weekly progress against scope and schedule and ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, utility requirements, and QA/QC procedures.
• Tracking all permits, inspections, and regulatory filings, including any prevailing wage/apprenticeship documentation (where required).
• Serving as the primary point of contact for customers during construction and providing clear and consistent project updates to stakeholders
• Overseeing punch list completion, commissioning, and utility interconnection.

Successful Candidates Must Have:

• Previous experience managing C&I solar projects. Extensive knowledge of commercial solar rooftop projects would be ideal.
• A strong knowledge of C&I solar EPC workflows
• A proficiency in scheduling tools.
• Experience with budgeting and cost-tracking on C&I solar projects
• Leadership and communication skills
• A problem-solving mindset with ability to handle high-pressure environments.
• An extensive understanding of utility interconnection, commissioning, and AHJ inspections processes.
• Experience managing personnel, including goal-setting and accountability
• Experience reviewing, refining, and improving standard operating procedures
• Experience ensuring compliance with design specifications, codes, utility requirements, and QA/QC procedures
