Job summary

Balfour Beatty US is seeking a Project Manager to join our Raleigh team. You will lead commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout, coordinating budgets, schedules, contracts, and client relations.

Collaborate with the Superintendent, Project Executive, and design partners to deliver safe, high‑quality projects that meet our Zero Harm® standards and excellence. 6–8 years of PM experience preferred; degree in CM/CE/Architecture required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related field.
• 6–8 years of progressive experience in commercial construction project management.
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Procore, Primavera P6, Sage 300 CRE, or similar).

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of assigned projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
• Serve as primary client contact to maintain relationships and ensure satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, financial reports and change orders; review subcontractor pay apps.
• Provide constructability input and staffing/resource planning for projects.
• Lead scheduling with the Superintendent and Primavera P6 baseline management.
• Manage subcontractor buyouts, contract negotiations, and material purchasing.
• Promote Zero Harm safety culture and lead quality control programs.
• Chair Owner-Architect-Contractor meetings and provide progress updates.
• Direct project turnover and closeout documentation.
