Job summary

Talent Edge Recruiting in Reston, VA seeks a hands-on Project Manager to own restaurant construction projects across Northern Virginia and DC, from kickoff through closeout. The role demands true project ownership on high‑visibility builds.

You will manage budgets, schedule, RFIs, submittals and closeouts while coordinating with owners, architects and engineers. Local candidates only; onsite, Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM to 3:00/4:00 PM, visa sponsorship not provided.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial construction PM experience.
• True project ownership, not just PM support.
• NOVA/DC market experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own budget, cost tracking and financial performance.
• Handle subcontractor buyout and contracts.
• Manage RFIs, submittals, change orders and long‑lead procurement.
• Drive the schedule with your Superintendent.
• Lead OAC meetings and work directly with owners, architects and engineers.
• Support an APM and keep repeat clients happy.
• Run closeout, punch lists and turnover.

A long-standing commercial GC in Reston, VA is hiring a hands-on Project Manager to own restaurant projects across Northern Virginia and DC, from kickoff through closeout.

What you'll run

• 3 restaurant projects: 2 in VA and 1 in DC
• 2 smaller projects for a repeat customer
• 1 higher-end downtown DC build, approximately $5M
• All local, no overnight travel

What you'll do
