Position Summary

Branch is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and organized Project Manager to join our growing company. The Project Manager oversees all operational and management activities on assigned projects, working closely with project leadership to ensure successful completion within scope, time, and budget. This role involves managing resources, ensuring safety and quality, and maintaining excellent relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Duties/Responsibilities
  1. Assist in managing, training, and mentoring the Project Engineer staff.
  2. Advise on business functions including workforce management, contracting strategies, and financial management.
  3. Support preconstruction activities, including design-build procurement.
  4. Develop new business opportunities and foster positive owner relationships.
  5. Ensure effective project administration through contract authority with owners and subcontractors.
  6. Manage all aspects of project contracts, planning, scheduling, budgeting, quality, safety, and employee development.
  7. Oversee profit margins and financial management of projects.
  8. Assist in drafting and executing subcontracts and purchase orders.
  9. Review and approve subcontractor pay requisitions.
  10. Develop and update project schedules in collaboration with the project team.
Additional Responsibilities
  1. Prepare monthly financial projections and reports.
  2. Manage payment requisitions, communicate changes, and report on financial status.
  3. Create effective construction plans and schedules with the Superintendent.
  4. Ensure adherence to contract terms, quality standards, cost minimization, and safety protocols.
Qualifications

Required:

  • Associates degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience on projects over $20M.
  • Experience with P6 scheduling software, MS Office, and project management tools.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams successfully.

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction.
  • Experience in Healthcare, K-12, or Higher Education projects.
  • Design-Build project experience.

Travel

Frequent field visits, approximately 50% field and 50% office work.
