Job summary

BoMac Contractors, Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer/Coordinator to plan, organize and manage civil construction projects from start to finish. You will handle contracts, schedules, budgets, and coordination with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.

The role requires 1–3 years of relevant experience, a bachelor’s degree in a related field, and strong communication and organizational skills. OSHA 30 preferred; Procore, MS Project, and Bluebeam are used daily.

Qualifications

• 1 to 3 years of experience in civil or heavy construction with a strong background in pile driving and deep foundations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Proven ability to manage small projects or assist with large-scale builds.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and manage construction projects from start to finish within scope, budget, and schedule.
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders, and vendor agreements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; update regularly.
• Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
• Coordinate daily activities between field teams, office, and clients.
• Track and approve RFIs, submittals, and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage project documentation including daily reports, logs, and cost tracking.
• Provide mentoring to APMs and field staff as needed.
