Job summary

BoMac Contractors, Ltd. on the Gulf Coast seeks a Civil Project Manager I to lead small to mid-sized construction projects from preconstruction through closeout in a dynamic team setting.

You will handle cost control, scheduling, subcontractor coordination, and client communication as an early-career leader. The role is ideal for candidates transitioning from assistant roles to full project management, with opportunities for hands-on training and advancement within a long-established, respected

Qualifications

• 1–3 years in civil or heavy construction with pile driving experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• Proficient with Procore, MS Project and Bluebeam.
• Strong communication, negotiation and organizational skills.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize and manage projects from start to finish within scope, budget and schedule.
• Manage contracts, subcontracts, purchase orders and vendor agreements.
• Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets; update regularly.
• Lead project meetings with owners, architects, engineers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate daily activities between field, office and clients.
• Track and approve RFIs, submittals and change orders.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain project documentation including daily reports and cost tracking.
• Mentor APMs and field staff as needed.
