CPH is looking for a well-qualified professional in our Orlando, Florida office for the following position:

Project Manager – Civil/Environmental Engineer (Utilities)

- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Florida or have the ability to obtain licensure within 6 months of hire.

Hiring Bonus of $5,000 for selected candidate!

CPH seeks a full-time Project Manager with strong organizational, supervision, and technical skills to manage Water/Wastewater Utility projects, including client management, project management, presentations, conceptual design, construction documents, plan review, and construction administration.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage project design teams including architects, engineers, designers, consultants, and clients.
  • Develop, negotiate, and manage project scopes, contracts, schedules, budgets, change orders, and billing.
  • Coordinate with firm disciplines, other project managers, and business development teams.
  • Research, interpret, and implement company and client standards and requirements.
  • Travel periodically for business development and project management; prepare and review reports and exhibits.
  • Oversee compilation of documents/construction plans from all disciplines and submit to agencies.
  • Ensure quality control in project execution.
  • Report weekly to clients and leadership on project performance regarding quality, schedule, and budget.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience managing Utility Design and Construction projects.
  • B.S. Degree in Civil/Environmental engineering with at least 7 years’ experience in utility project design and permitting, including water/wastewater treatment facilities, pipelines, and pump stations.
  • Licensed Professional Engineer in Florida or ability to obtain licensure within 6 months.
  • Strong design, value engineering, analytical, and regulatory experience.
  • Ability to review project design documents.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Smartsheet and Deltek is a plus.
  • Understanding of project processes from concept to construction and schedule/budget management skills.
  • Good judgment, instructional ability, conflict resolution, and team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work on multiple projects under deadlines.
  • Flexible schedule to meet project deadlines.
  • Detail-oriented, reliable, self-motivated, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
