Job summary

TD Construction Group, based in Thibodaux, LA, is a growing heavy civil contractor handling subdivision and site development, sewer, drainage, water systems, earthmoving, lime treatment, rock placement, and paving.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to run heavy civil, roadway, and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout; the ideal candidate will lead with strong organization and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (Or +3 years additional relevant construction project management experience in lieu of degree).
• Minimum 3 years’ management experience in heavy civil, roadway, or utility construction.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) for cost and schedule reporting.
• Strong leadership and advanced organizational skills; able to manage multiple, complex projects.
• Excellent communicator—able to set clear expectations with superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of industry standards for drainage, water, sewer, earthwork, and concrete construction.
• Experience with CAD or Trimble Business Center preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full project lifecycle: safety, scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk.
• Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and clients to achieve project milestones.
• Lead development of proposals, schedules, and material lists.
• Provide regular project performance updates to stakeholders.
• Visit project sites as needed to ensure alignment with project goals.

Founded five years ago, we’re expanding and seeking driven leaders to join our team. We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to manage heavy civil, roadway, and utility projects from preconstruction through closeout.
