Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of project management experience within civil, utility, underground construction, or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of water main installation, sewer systems, storm sewers, force mains and pump stations, excavation and earthwork.
  • Experience managing public-sector infrastructure projects.
  • Understanding of contract administration, project controls, scheduling, and estimating.

  • Negotiate and manage change orders, claims, and contract modifications.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for owners, engineers, municipalities, and utility authorities.
  • Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients and stakeholders.
  • Maintain positive working relationships with inspectors, regulatory agencies, and utility representatives.
  • Address project concerns and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate closely with field leadership to develop construction sequencing and work plans.
  • Review project drawings, specifications, and constructability considerations.
  • Assist with coordination of utility shutdowns, tie-ins, testing, commissioning, and startup activities.
  • Support field teams in resolving design conflicts, unforeseen conditions, and operational challenges.
  • Promote a culture of safety and ensure compliance with all company, OSHA, and site-specific requirements.
  • Participate in safety planning and risk management activities.
  • Ensure all work meets project specifications, quality standards, and owner expectations.
  • Support quality control documentation and project closeout procedures.

Key Responsibilities
Project Management & Execution
