Job summary

MOHR Talent is seeking a Project Manager for Civil Construction in Chicago, IL. This hands‑on leadership role oversees schedule, cost, and field coordination from bid through closeout, delivering heavy civil projects for roads, bridges, utilities, and site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 7+ years of heavy civil field experience (roads, bridges, utilities, site work).
• Strong command of Excel, Word, Outlook, and Adobe.
• Primavera P6 experience is a plus; AutoCAD or MicroStation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret drawings and specs across all disciplines.
• Build and maintain cost‑loaded, resource‑loaded CPM schedules.
• Prepare monthly schedule reports, two‑week look‑aheads, and narratives.
• Track RFIs, change orders, and correspondence through project management software.
• Prepare cost reports, labor productivity reports, and monthly payment requisitions.
• Review and approve subcontractor and material invoices.
• Supervise project engineers and field engineers, coordinate with superintendents.
