Job summary

G.A. Rogers & Associates, a leading Central Oregon recruiting firm, seeks an experienced heavy civil construction Project Manager to oversee road and bridge projects, site development, and underground utilities. You will lead teams, manage budgets, and ensure client satisfaction from planning through completion.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in civil/concrete project management, strong leadership, and proficiency in PM software. Competitive benefits and bonus potential offered.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in civil or structural concrete construction.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specs, and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning: Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedule, cost, resources, and risk management.
  • Leadership: Lead project team, subcontractors, and vendors with clear communication.
  • Budget Management: Oversee budgets and ensure financial objectives.
  • Client Interaction: Serve as main contact with clients for updates and satisfaction.
  • Quality Control: Implement and monitor QC measures to meet standards and contractual requirements.

Project Manager Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, specifically with civil or structural concrete projects.

  • Proven track record in managing construction projects from start to finish.

  • Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Proficiency with project management software (e.g., HCSS, Heavy Big, Heavy Job).

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction contracts.
