  • Lead a diverse team of engineers, contractors, and subcontractors, coordinating closely with procurement and construction management.
  • Identify, manage, and mitigate project risk before it becomes an issue.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for the client, protecting and deepening the relationships Nexus has built.
  • Enforce quality control and champion a strong safety culture across the team.
  • Monitor and control the project budget, find cost savings that don't compromise quality or safety, and report financials to the Project Director.
  • Mentor team members and support their professional growth.
  • Coordinate with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural preferred), Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of project management experience on large-scale, multi-discipline chemicals or refining projects.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Construction and commissioning experience.
  • Periodic travel for client and project site visits as required.
