  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 3+ years of experience managing large-scale manufacturing, facility, infrastructure, or equipment projects with budgets exceeding $10 million.
  • Proven success leading cross-functional projects in regulated industries such as life sciences or medical devices.
  • Strong grasp of PM principles: scope, scheduling, budgeting, resources, risk, and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced environment with financial acumen.

The Project Manager is responsible for leading, coordinating, and delivering strategic manufacturing capital, infrastructure, process improvement, and equipment projects across Cytiva's Filtration business unit. This role ensures projects are executed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with business objectives while meeting quality, schedule, budget, and compliance requirements.
This position reports to the Sr Director, Advanced Engineering and is part of the Filtration manufacturing business located in Pensacola, FL and will be an on-site role.

What You Will Do
  • Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and closure of manufacturing projects using standard project management methodologies and Danaher Business System (DBS) principles.
  • Deliver capital and operational projects safely, on time, within scope, and within approved budgets while maintaining quality and regulatory compliance.
  • Manage project scope, identify changes, evaluate impacts, and drive effective change control processes to minimize schedule and budget deviations.
  • Establish and maintain a consistent communication cadence with senior leadership, including the Filtration General Manager, CFO, Operations Leaders, and other stakeholders, providing clear visibility to project status, risks, mitigation plans, and business outcomes.
  • Prepare capital expenditure (CapEx) justifications, financial analyses, budget forecasts, and executive-level presentations supporting investment decisions.
Who You Are
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Prefer 3+ years' experience managing large-scale manufacturing, facility, infrastructure, or equipment projects with budgets exceeding $10 million.
  • Demonstrated success leading complex cross-functional projects in manufacturing, engineering, life sciences, medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or related regulated industries.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including scope management, scheduling, budgeting, resource planning, risk management, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven ability to lead multiple concurrent projects and effectively prioritize work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong financial acumen, including capital planning, forecasting, return-on-investment analysis, and cost control.
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
  • Ability to travel up 15% potentially international
  • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and follow safety protocols/procedures
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
  • Management of Change (MOC) processes within regulated manufacturing environments.
  • Commissioning, Qualification, and Validation (CQV) of manufacturing equipment and facilities.
  • Pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or life sciences manufacturing operations.
