The Business Development Team\'s mission is to increase voter turnout in local, state, and general elections by designing and executing a unified, cross-functional outreach strategy that engages political candidates and campaigns to create and maintain their WeVote profiles and promote electoral participation. It seems to achieve this by conducting personalized outreach to candidates through email, phone, social media, and online events to drive profile adoption and to engage civic partners using toolkits and co-branded resources designed to activate their audiences.
***For the Fall 2025 election cycle, WeVote has initiated a pilot program that targets key races (starting with state and local races and primaries), especially those involving underrepresented or youth populations. The goal is to schedule outreach to align with the November pilot races, critical electoral milestones, and peak engagement periods.
