Control Solutions Group, Inc. seeks a Project Manager, Building Management Systems (BMS) for our New York City team. You will oversee multiple building automation installation projects, manage contracts, accounting, and resources, and serve as the primary liaison with clients, subcontractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EE, ME, CE, Math or Physics.
• Minimum of 5-years project management experience in HVAC control and automation or equivalent industry experience in the NYC Metro area.
• Extensive computer and automation experience.
• Thorough understanding of the construction process.
• Demonstrated track record of completing projects on schedule and within budget.
• Excellent organizational and oral/written communication skills.
• Competent working with AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of electrical wiring and schematics.
• Able to write, edit and understand sequences of operations.
• Able to read and understand project drawings and specifications.
• Have excellent oral/written communication skills and be able to communicate effectively with consulting engineers regarding design, implementation and commissioning.
• A knowledge of Automated Logic controls preferred.

Job Summary

Control Solutions Group, Inc., an EMCOR Group company, seeks anProject Manager, Building Management Systems (BMS) to join our New York City team.

In this role, the Project Manager oversees and coordinates multiple building automation installation projects within a dynamic construction environment while managing project contracts, accounting, and resource allocation. This role acts as a critical liaison, developing strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope. The position requires a process-oriented leader who can adapt to short deadlines, handle up to 25% travel, and maintain a solid familiarity with BAS, BMS, DDC, and energy management systems.

Experience with controls, BMS, BAS, DDC, Building Automation, Building Management, EPMS and Energy Management Systems is preferred.
