A technology solutions provider is seeking an experienced Project Manager/Business Analyst in Southfield Township, MI, to lead the end-user compute technical stream of Project Metropolis. The ideal candidate will have over 7 years of project management experience, strong stakeholder management skills, and a background in IT systems. This role involves leading project execution planning while ensuring compliance and effective stakeholder communication. Candidates local to Michigan only, with a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis within IT or consulting.
• Proven experience in managing divestiture and/or migration projects.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-user computing execution planning of the Project Metropolis project.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and develop execution plans.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project progress.
• Work with stakeholders to set up and manage end-user computing pilot schemes and testing, developing test plans and capturing success criteria.
• Understand end-user software requirements and associated user personas including and security considerations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including requirements, plans, process flows, technical specifications, and project status.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management on project progress, RAG status and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate any risks associated with the end-user computing activities.
• Ensure alignment with any legal and compliance requirements throughout the project.

Job Title - Project Manager/BA

Base Location – Southfield Township, MI (Hybrid)

Duration – 9+ months

We are seeking a highly motivated Technical Project Manager or Business Analyst to help lead the end-user compute technical stream of Project Metropolis from initial planning through successful delivery.

The ideal candidate has strong project management skills, experience translating business needs into technical requirements, and a background in IT systems.

Responsibilities and Impact

• Lead the end-user computing execution planning of the Project Metropolis project, ensuring a seamless transition for migrated employees.
• Collaborate with other project stakeholders and end users to gather requirements, understand, and plan timelines, and develop a comprehensive execution plan.
• Work with technical teams to oversee the setup of end-user computing environments for Day 1 operations and beyond.
• Work with stakeholders to set up and manage end-user computing pilot schemes and testing, developing test plans and capturing success criteria.
• Understand end-user software requirements and associated user personas including and security considerations.
• Develop and maintain project documentation including requirements, plans, process flows, technical specifications, and project status.
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders and senior management on project progress, RAG status and milestones.
• Identify and mitigate any risks associated with the end-user computing activities.
• Ensure alignment with any legal and compliance requirements throughout the project.

Basic Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in managing divestiture and/or migration projects or similar large-scale transitions.
• Strong understanding of end-user computing environments and technical setups including laptops, end user software and associated personas, printing, mobile devices, and campus networking.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to gather and translate requirements into actionable plans.
• 7+ years of experience in project management and/or business analysis within IT or consulting environments.

Additional Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a hybrid work environment with global teams.
• Familiarity with compliance and legal considerations of divestiture and/or migration activities
• Strong project management certifications such as PMP or Prince2.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey project status to stakeholders.
