Job description

STV is seeking an experienced Project Manager - Aviation (Structures) to join our national aviation team. This position may assist aviation clients across the country who require our expertise in aviation projects. Candidates must be within a reasonable commute to a major airline hub, such as DFW, IAH, ATL, EWR, ORD, LGA, SAT, etc.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Organize cross-functional activities to coordinate project tasks, ensuring completion of deliverables, schedule, and budget.
  2. Manage and direct the development of proposals, project initiation, execution, control, and closeout, including planning, Environmental Impact Statements, design, and construction projects. Responsible for budgets, extra work requests, and invoicing.
  3. Participate in or lead marketing efforts, proposal preparation, and presentations to secure projects.
  4. Plan project execution and develop comprehensive project manuals.
  5. Schedule and monitor manpower requirements against project budgets and performance, managing scope, schedule, cost, cash flow, quality, communication, resources, procurement, and risk.
  6. Establish and maintain contractor-client communication networks to keep stakeholders informed of project progress, start dates, and budgets.
  7. Oversee project from initiation through delivery, including manpower development and updates.
  8. Form and lead project teams, coordinating responsibilities and tasks according to schedule.
  9. Submit documents for code compliance review and permit applications to relevant authorities.
  10. Conduct regular project progress meetings to ensure contract terms and specifications are being met.
  11. Ensure personnel adhere to regulatory requirements and company policies, addressing manpower, equipment, materials, and quality issues promptly.
  12. May supervise, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure efficient project operations.

Compensation Range: $112,253.66 - $149,671.54
