Job summary

Brock Solutions in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Project Manager - Automation to lead real-time control system and automation projects. You will work with engineers to plan, execute and deliver complex solutions for manufacturing and logistics clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of leadership on controls automation projects.
• Experience managing projects in manufacturing industries is a plus.
• Customer focused and action oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team based project environment.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project is an asset.
• Bachelor or higher in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related field; travel about 30%.

• Financial responsibility on projects between $500k and $10M.
• Managing client expectations and communications to the project team.
• Managing scope internally and externally with the client.
• Managing resource assignments and utilization for all assigned resources.
• Creation and management of project schedules.
• Ensuring harmonious working relationships with key partners.

Qualifications Required:

• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work effectively in a team based projectenvironment
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project is an asset
• College diploma or University degree in relevant fieldof study (Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Systems Design, Automation, Industrial Engineering or related fields)
• This position does require travel (approximately 30%)
