Technology that supports the buildings and industry of today and tomorrow requires a wide range of talents and skill sets. **About the position** We are looking for a Project Manager who works independently, supports the development of project plans, schedules and budgets for projects, facilitates project tasks with various functional organizations, forecast project revenues, tracks progress, identifies project problems, and recommends resolutions.**Key Responsibilities*** Management of large portfolio projects following project processes and where applicable provide direction to assisting Field Engineers* Complete projects per the contractual requirements within budget, on-time and with a high level of customer satisfaction* Responsible for the overall financial performance of assigned projects including project planning, billing, revenue forecasting, A/R collections and re-estimating costs of installation projects.* Manage the delivery of the contracted scope and secure change orders for the expansion of scope* Coordinate project materials and the use of shared resources; identify resource constraints, and assist with corrective action plans to remedy any issues* Manage relationships with sub-contractors, identifying issues, and take corrective action plans to remedy any issues **Additional Responsibilities*** FINANCIALPerform “actual vs. estimated” analyses and identify variances, reasons for variances, and mitigation stepsMaintain budget or reduce cost, maintaining client satisfactionMaintain positive cash flow through approved SOV, follow up on billings* PROJECT SCHEDULINGPlan manpower and know when resources are required on the project.Create a working schedule and proactively plan and protect our contractual timelines.* SUBCONTRACTOR MANAGEMENTSchedule continuous site visits to quality check our subcontractorBe able to provide installation and schedule directionDocument all installation/schedule issues with subcontractor* COMMUNICATION AND DOCUMENTATIONProvide necessary documentation and communication to all customer levels and sub-contractors and/or ensure that the appropriate members of the project team do so.Professionally represent Automated Logic in meetings and always be proactive in defending the company’s best interest. **Basic Qualifications:*** High School Diploma GED* 3+ years of HVAC experience in the BAS (Building Automation Systems) industry* Traveling will be required up to 50% within the greater Waco area* Due to contracts agreements, this position does not support sponsorship* Valid Driver’s Licence is required**Preferred Qualifications*** AA/AS degree required, 5+ years’ work experience in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Electronics, IT **OR** BA/BS degree with 4+ years’ work experience in Construction, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, Electronics, or IT* Self-starter, be able to organize and plan your work schedule.* Work well in a team environment* Strong problem solving, planning and project management skills* Exceptional written and verbal communication skills* Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project, Access* Experience leading small teams of 4-6 people* Experience reading and understanding scope of work.* General knowledge of employment laws and practices* Project financial reporting**Pay Range**The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate.
