Job summary

Qcells USA Corp. is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a 100% on-site renewable energy construction project in Arizona. You will partner with site leadership, subcontractors, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure safe, on-schedule, and within-budget project delivery.

The role oversees all lifecycle phases and requires strong scheduling, budgeting, and stakeholder coordination with an emphasis on safety and quality results.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
  • 5+ years of professional experience managing medium-to-large construction projects, preferably renewable energy.
  • Experience utilizing PM tools and managing critical path and compliance documentation.
  • Able to read, analyze and understand design documents, blueprints, and schedules (MS Project, Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of million-dollar construction projects.
  • Develop, manage and maintain project schedules and budgets throughout lifecycle.
  • Prepare and review schedules, budgets, resource allocations; identify risks and mitigation.
  • Track project progress, reporting, and key performance metrics.
  • Produce cost reports showing current status, revenues, and timeline for stakeholders.
  • MaintainScopes of work and supplier quotes to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.
  • Serve as primary contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Join Hanwha QcellsUSA Corp and support the construction of a utility-scale renewable energy project within our Atlas portfolio in Arizona. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead project execution and partner closely with site leadership, subcontractors, clients, and cross-functional teams to ensure the project is delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

SUMMARY

The Project Manager will support a specific active project within Qcells' Atlas portfolio in Arizona and will oversee all phases of the project lifecycle, including schedule, budget, construction execution, stakeholder coordination, and overall project performance.

This is a 100% on-site, field-based position in Arizona. Candidates must be available to work from the project site 100%, for the duration of the assignment. Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, with additional hours as required based on project needs.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Overall responsibility for all stages of million dollar+ construction projects
  • Develop,manageandmaintainproject schedules and budgets throughoutprojectlifecycle.
  • Prepare and review project schedules, budgets, and resource allocations,identifyingpotentialrisksandimplementing mitigation strategies.
  • Track project progress, reporting, and key performance metrics
  • Cost reporting–Prepare reports regarding the current status of a project to show estimated costs, revenues, and projecttimeline responsible for project reporting to both internal and external parties.
  • Maintain scopes of work,standardsand quotes from suppliersin accordance with on time, on budget approach.
  • Serve as the primary point of contract for internal and external stakeholders, escalating issues, as needed.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field
  • 5+years of professional experience managing the performance of medium-to-large construction projects, renewable energy projectspreferred.
  • Experience utilizing PM tools, organization and management of critical path and compliance documentation, and other deliverables.
  • Able to read, analyze and understand design documents, blueprints, and Microsoft Project Schedules as well as Word, Excel and Outlook.

EXAMPLE OF PHYSICAL DEMANDS
  • Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc.
  • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces (towers, vessels, excavations, etc.)
  • Able to walk or move continuously while carrying 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials.It is recommended to get assistance to lift items over 50 lbs
  • Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time

Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to internal pay equity, skill set, education, licenses and certifications, geographic location, essential job duties and requirements, and the necessary experience relative to the job’s minimum qualifications. If candidates are considered for a nationwide role, then the compensation range will follow the marketability of the job function within those states.
