Job summary

GMA Architects in Downers Grove is adding an Architectural Project Manager or Architect to their team. The successful candidate will produce architectural documents, review project scope, and provide site planning. A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture and 5-7 years of experience are required, along with proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

Qualifications

• Licensure not required; pursuit of licensure supported.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural documents for permit and construction.
• Develop preliminary designs into construction documents.
• Review project scope with construction project managers.
• Provide site and space planning.
• Prepare colored site plan and elevation drawings.
• Review construction document content with project managers.
• Review building codes and local zoning.
• Attend client meetings and coordinate with engineers.

Responsibilities

• Produce architectural documents for permit submittal as well as construction
• Develop preliminary designs into construction documents
• Review project scope with construction project managers
• Provide site and space planning for construction project managers
• Prepare presentation drawings (colored site plan and elevations)
• Review and coordinate construction documents content with construction project manager and consultants
• Review building code, local zoning, and park covenants
• Attend client meetings, and coordinate with construction project managers, structural, electrical, and civil engineers

Qualifications

• At least 5-7 years of experience required
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• Revit and AutoCAD experience required. 3D modeling/rendering preferred
• Licensure not required. GMA supports pursuit of licensure
