This job involves managing data acquisition, processing, and analysis for evaluating EERE grants to small businesses and start-ups, using statistical models like Regression-Discontinuity and Difference-in-Differences.

Key responsibilities include establishing data codebases, coordinating data requests, cleaning and linking datasets, implementing statistical models, and preparing reports and presentations. The role requires managing project phases from startup, data integration, analysis, to reporting, with optional follow-on analysis during the extension period.

Qualifications include a Master’s or Ph.D. in relevant fields, at least 5 years of experience with datasets and statistical models, proficiency in R, Stata, or Python, and experience with data management and federal data environments. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential. Preferred qualifications include federal data access credentials.
