Job summary

General Kinematics Vibrating Equipment in Crystal Lake, IL seeks a Project Manager to develop detailed project plans, manage budgets, and coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure on-time delivery.

You will monitor progress, perform risk assessments, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure ISO-compliant processes. Travel up to 15–20% may be required; the role offers a competitive salary and profit-sharing bonus.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, industrial technology or equivalent experience.
  • 2–4 years of project management experience in OEM, industrial, or construction settings.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
  • Blueprint reading (AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks, etc.).
  • Ability and willingness to travel 15–20%.
  • Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; background check required.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and ERP/PM software (MS Project, Procore, etc.).

  • Facilitate two-way effective communication between different teams and departments involved in the project.
  • Maintain weekly communication with production, engineering, and sales departments, with updates to ensure proper adherence to established timelines and objectives.
  • Assist in developing best practices goals, objectives, policies, and procedures.
  • Track budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis.
  • Comply with the company’s ISO objectives, policies, & procedures.
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by manager.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, engineering industrial technology, engineering, or provide equivalent experience.
  • Two (2) to four (4) years of project management experience in an OEM, Industrial, or Construction setting.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
  • Blueprint reading required (AutoCAD, Inventor, Navisworks, etc.)
  • Ability and willingness to travel 15-20%.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and proof of insurance.
  • Background check is a requirement of the hiring process.
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Proficient working with an ERP and with Project Management software (MS Project, Procore, etc.)

Pay: $90,000 to $100,000 paid annually. The range provided is a guideline and not a guarantee of compensation. Other factors that are involved in offer decisions include, and are not limited to a candidate’s experience, qualifications, geography, and internal equity.
