Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead complex projects at a client site in the Syracuse, Rochester or Buffalo areas. You’ll report to the Project Executive and guide the project team from conception through close-out, with a focus on scheduling, safety, quality, and design coordination.

Required: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction; 10+ years of construction experience including Advanced Technology Facilities or Data Centers; OSHA 30;

Qualifications

• 10+ years of construction experience including multiple phases and data centers/advanced technology facilities.
• Strong knowledge of pre-design/pre-construction, contract management, project delivery and building systems.
• Ability to manage major projects with established controls and provide site leadership on scheduling, safety, and quality.

We’re seeking an experienced and collaborative Construction Project Manager who thrives when people are in sync and projects are running not just on time but within budget. Based at our client’s site in the Syracuse, Rochester or Buffalo areas, you will report directly to the Project Executive and will work alongside other project team members focusing on project in the conception to close out phase. You’ll manage advanced technology projects using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers and any critical issues pertinent to the project or the client’s facility and have a full working knowledge of the change order and cost review process and the review/approval of contractor’s payment application.

Here’s what you’ll need

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture or Construction
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of construction including work in Advanced Technology Facilities, Semiconductor Facilities or Data Centers.
• Strong working knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, contract management, project delivery methods, building systems/components and technology, team building, and client relationship building
• Must be able to manage a major project using established controls/procedures and provide job site leadership in all areas of scheduling, safety, quality, coordination with the designers and any critical issues pertinent to the project
• OSHA 30 Certification
• Work will require a background check

• Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification

The base salary range for this position is $155,000.00 to $165,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
