Job summary

Voyager Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Project Manager to shape lunar technology programs. You will manage budgets and schedules for landers, rovers, and spacecraft, and support proposals for NASA and commercial customers.

The role requires coordinating with engineering teams, partners, and customers to drive on-time, within-budget outcomes. You will lead risk assessments, resource planning, and technology development projects, ensuring alignment with the company roadmap and customer

Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Engineering and 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience
  • Experience in project or program management, project finance, and program planning
  • Experience developing programmatic content for proposals and external customer presentations
  • Experience authoring and decomposing financial and contractual volumes
  • Strong understanding of launch, space, and lunar environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with engineers across disciplines
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
  • Eligibility to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance

Responsibilities

  • Participate in cross-functional meetings to align schedules and budgets with mission needs.
  • Run internal early technology projects and architecture studies with oversight of budget and deliverables.

Job Summary

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Project Manager to help shape the future of lunar technologies and missions. Advanced Programs leads the company’s earliest stage work, from mission concept definition and long-term technology roadmapping to hands on development of breakthrough technologies that will power our next generation of lunar landers, surface systems, and spacecraft. In this role, you will end-to-end mission concept budgets and schedules for NASA, government, and commercial customers, directly influencing the technologies and architectures that will drive Astrobotic’s future lunar pursuits.

Job responsibilities:

  • Develop program budgets and schedules for new concepts and designs of lunar landers, rovers, surface power systems, and spacecraft.
  • Support proposal content creation for mission opportunities and internal development programs.
  • Contribute to programmatic topics such as schedules, resourcing, risks, and budgets estimations.
  • Communicate with other engineering disciplines, partners, customers, and vendors to resolve technical risks and challenges.
  • Build out bottoms up estimates, including bill of materials, cash flow models, and labor estimates.
  • Occasionally participate in visits and technical interchange meetings with customers, supply chain, and partner organizations.
  • Participate in cross functional team meetings to ensure project schedules and budgets comply with mission and business needs and company technology roadmap.
  • Run internal early technology development projects and paid architecture studies, performing project management over budget, schedule, deliverables, and customer interfacing.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Engineering or related discipline plus 5-10 years of relevant engineering experience. Relevant advanced degree will be considered in lieu of equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in project or program management, project finance, and program planning.
  • Experience developing programmatic content for proposals and external customer presentations.
  • Experience authoring and decomposing financial and contractual volumes.
  • Strong understanding of the launch, space, and lunar environments.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills and able to self-start with minimal guidance.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, experienced working with a wide variety of engineers with different skill levels and backgrounds.
  • Ability to adapt quickly, think creatively, make critical technical decisions, and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of full development lifecycle of large complex aerospace systems.
  • Experience with large NASA or other USG proposals and contracts.
  • Knowledge of NASA/industry engineering standards.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an agile environment, using organizational tools such as Confluence and Jira.
  • Eligibility to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance.

The good faith base salary rang e is $150,000-$200,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
