Job summary

NextGen | GTA: A Kelly Telecom Company is seeking a Project Manager to lead 4G/5G core deployment projects in Richardson, TX or Harrisburg, PA. You will manage end-to-end deployments, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure on-time, on-budget delivery with risk and stakeholder management.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years in telecom project management, PMP/PRINCE2 training, and familiarity with MS Project, Jira, Smartsheet, 4G/5G architectures, SIP/VoLTE/VoNR, and roaming.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in mobile telecommunications project management.
• Project management certification or formal training (PMP or PRINCE2).
• Experience managing complex deployments and internal projects from initiation to delivery and handover.
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Smartsheet, or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of 4G/LTE and 5G core network architectures (NSA/SA).
• Understanding of IP networking, signaling protocols, OSS/BSS, and voice tech (SIP, VoLTE, VoNR).
• Experience with roaming relationships and cross-operator coordination.
• Ability to manage schedules, budgets, resources, risks, dependencies, and issues.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, including customer-facing communication and stakeholder management.
• Experience coordinating distributed teams and multiple concurrent projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, long-duration customer deployments and internal projects from kickoff through handover.
• Coordinate engineering and solution architecture teams to ensure design peer-review and readiness.
• Define objectives, milestones, dependencies, schedules, and resource requirements.
• Maintain delivery schedules, risk registers, issue logs, and project dashboards.
• Provide weekly updates and maintain clear communication with customers and partners.
• Ensure all deliverables are documented and transitioned to operations with acceptance criteria.
