Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our team in the united states. You will lead projects from planning through startup, coordinating engineers and field teams to meet scope, schedule and budget while ensuring customer satisfaction and safety.

Qualifications

• Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security).
• Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff development; strong leadership orientation.
• MS Office suite (Outlook, Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and programming/debugging ability.
• Basic knowledge of IT networking principles.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, organize and direct assigned projects; include application engineering, field installation and startup.
• Ensure projects are executed within budget and time schedules; maintain positive cash flow.
• Interface with customers to maximize satisfaction, safety and quality on all projects.
• PM may have direct reports; handle high-volume or critical accounts.
• Perform other duties as requested.

What You’ll Need

• Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
• Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; solid leadership orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the organization.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills; solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of IT networking principals.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control.

Requirements:

Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience

Minimum Experience: 7-10 years relevant engineering, field service or project management

• 5 years supervisory

Preferred Experience:

• Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
