Convergint Technologies LLC is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join a dynamic team. You will plan, schedule, organize, and direct project activities, including application engineering, field installation and start-up, while ensuring budget adherence and timely delivery.

You will serve as the primary customer interface to maximize satisfaction and safety. This role demands expert PM experience in technical environments such as building automation, fire alarm and life safety systems,

Qualifications

• Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, and/or electronic security).
• Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff development; ability to model and coach others.

Responsabilités

• Plan, schedule, organize and direct projects from inception to start-up.
• Ensure projects stay within budget and schedule, and maintain positive cash flow.
• Interface with customers to maximize satisfaction, safety and quality on all projects.
• Lead high‑level projects with significant responsibility and impact.
• Perform other duties as required.

What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

• Responsibilities include planning, scheduling, organizing and directing, application engineering, field installation and start‑up of assigned projects.
• Ensures projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules and ensure positive cash flow.
• In addition, position is key interface with the customer and responsible for maximizing customer satisfaction, safety, and quality assurance on all assigned projects.
• Highest level of Project Manager has direct reports, high volume and/or critical accounts and customers.
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

What You’ll Need

• Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation systems, fire alarm systems, and/or electronic security systems).
• Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; solid leadership orientation – Actively seeks ways in which to act as a role model, guide, develop and mentor others within the organization.
• Excellent Microsoft Outlook, Project, Excel, Word and Power Point skills; solid programming skills and proven ability to troubleshoot problems and look for solutions.
• Basic knowledge and understanding of IT networking principals.
• Advanced financial analytical skills including cost control.

Requirements

• Education: College degree, trade school or equivalent experience
• Minimum Experience: 7-10 years relevant engineering, field service or project management 5 years supervisory
• Preferred Experience: (but not required): Experience in 1 or more of the following industries: electronic, fire alarm & life safety, and/or building automation
