Convergint is seeking a full-time Project Manager to join our collaborative team in Columbia, MD. You will lead complex integration projects in building automation, fire alarm and electronic security systems, ensuring on-time delivery and strong customer satisfaction.

You bring advanced leadership, mentoring skills, and hands-on project management experience in technical environments, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and project planning tools.

Qualifications

• Expert project management experience in a technical environment (building automation, fire alarm, or electronic security systems).
• Advanced coaching, mentoring, and staff development skills; strong leadership orientation.
• Excellent Microsoft Office and project planning tool skills; ability to troubleshoot and propose solutions.
• Basic IT networking concepts.
• Experience supervising teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, organize and direct projects from engineering to start-up.
• Ensure projects stay within budget and on schedule with positive cash flow.
• Interface with customers to maximize satisfaction, safety, and quality.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to project teams; manage multiple high-priority accounts.
