Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager to support a leading organization in high-speed connectivity and electronics manufacturing, on site near Harrisburg, PA. The role drives complex new product development initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer and business objectives.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional and global teams, manage scope, schedules, risks, and costs, and apply DFM principles across the product lifecycle

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from a four-year institution.
• 3+ years of project management experience in electronics or connectors.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and documentation.
• Strong analytical skills for problem solving in low-standardization environments.
• Proficiency with project management tools and software.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with global teams across multiple regions.

Responsibilities

• Manage project scope, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of product development programs.
• Provide technical leadership across cross-functional and global project teams.
• Serve as primary communication interface with Program Management on status, schedules, and risks.
• Plan and lead internal meetings to track progress and maintain schedule alignment.

• Align projects with financial targets including cost, capital requests, and scope.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles throughout development lifecycle.
• Oversee capacity planning to meet forecasted demand.
• Establish systems for product ordering and manufacturing readiness.

The ideal Project Manager will drive complex new product development initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer and business objectives.

Responsibilities of the Project Maager:

• Manage project scope, objectives, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful execution of product development programs.
• Provide technical leadership across cross-functional and global project teams throughout all phases of development.
• Serve as the primary communication interface with Program Management, providing updates on project status, schedules, and risks.
• Plan and lead internal meetings to track project progress, assign action items, and maintain schedule alignment.
• Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of key project components.
• Communicate resource needs proactively to maintain project timelines and mitigate delays.
• Ensure projects align with financial targets, including capital requests, product costing, and scope management.
• Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Oversee capacity planning to ensure supply capabilities meet forecasted demand.
• Establish systems and processes required for product ordering and manufacturing readiness.

Compensation for the Project Manager includes:

• Salary range: $60,000 - $100,000 annually
• Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
