Piper Companies is seeking a Project Manager to support a leading organization in the high-speed connectivity and electronics manufacturing industry on site near Harrisburg, PA. The role will drive complex new product development initiatives, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with customer and business objectives.

You will lead cross-functional and global project teams, manage scope, timelines, risks, and communication with Program Management, and apply DFM

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field from a four-year institution.
  • 3+ years of project management experience, preferably within the connector or electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to solve complex problems in low-standardization environments.
  • Proficiency with project management tools and software.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience working with global teams across multiple regions.

  • Collaborate with internal and external suppliers to ensure timely delivery of key project components.
  • Communicate resource needs proactively to maintain project timelines and mitigate delays.
  • Ensure projects align with financial targets, including capital requests, product costing, and scope management.
  • Apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
  • Oversee capacity planning to ensure supply capabilities meet forecasted demand.
  • Establish systems and processes required for product ordering and manufacturing readiness.

Compensation for the Project Manager includes:
  • Salary range: $60,000 - $100,000 annually
  • Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and PTO
