Kinsley Steel, Inc. seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead onsite projects and drive successful outcomes with a high-performance team. You will oversee structural steel erection, collaborate across disciplines, and maintain detailed progress documentation.

The role emphasizes client communication, schedule control, and adherence to safety and quality standards in a dynamic construction environment.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• Prior project management experience in steel fabrication/erection or miscellaneous metals.
• US driver’s license required.
• Knowledge of Tekla and Fabtrol is preferred.
• Familiarity with scheduling software such as MS Project or Primavera is preferred.
• Strong math skills and basic field measurement tools.
• Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost control standards and procedures.
• Knowledge of materials methods and tools in steel construction.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee and manage structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals installation projects.
• Collaborate with teams from steel detailing to creating schedules.
• Review specifications, prepare documents, and maintain progress reports.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders, deducts, and proposals with clients.
• Maintain effective communication and strong client relationships.
• Coordinate with subcontractors, fabricators, and other stakeholders.

Your day as a Project Manager

• - Oversee and manage structural steel erection and miscellaneous metals installation projects
• - Collaborate with various teams to ensure project success, from participating in steel detailing to creating comprehensive schedules
• - Review specifications, preparing critical documents, and maintaining detailed reports to track progress
• - Prepare and negotiate change orders, deducts, and proposals with clients.
• - Maintain effective communication and strong client relationships
• - Coordinate with subcontractors, fabricators, and other project stakeholders

QUALIFICATIONS

• - Bachelor's Degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience
• - Prior Project Management experience in steel fabrication/erection or miscellaneous metals
• - A valid US driver's license is required
• - Knowledge of AISC and PCI standards is preferred
• - Familiarity with scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera is preferred
• - Understanding mathematics and possessing basic field tools for measurements
• - Knowledge of safety, quality, and cost control standards and procedures
• - Knowledge of materials methods and tools involved in steel construction
• - Knowledge of Tekla and Fabtrol software programs is preferred
