Project Manager, $90,000 - $120,000 yearly

Full-Time, Monday - Friday, Remote Position

R+L Carriers' Information Technology Department has an immediate opening for a Project Manager at our Wilmington, OH Service Center. The successful candidate will manage the scope, schedule, and cost for the development of enterprise applications supporting R+L’s leadership in transportation and logistics. This role involves working within an interdisciplinary team to support enterprise software development, collaborating with business stakeholders to understand requirements, and designing enterprise-level solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Provide project management support, including developing work breakdown structures, project schedules, managing requirements, and interfacing with subject matter experts.
2. Manage projects to ensure on-time completion, within budget, and quality standards.
3. Develop business requirements specifications and work with development managers for estimates.
4. Facilitate review meetings with project teams and stakeholders.
5. Conduct status meetings, perform risk assessments, track action items, and report to the Program Management Office.
6. Implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure project quality and timeliness.
7. Engage with business stakeholders to define requirements, maintain communication, and ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Coordinate with Quality Management to generate test plans.

Qualifications:

• Experience managing software development projects using methodologies such as Agile, PMI, or PRINCE2.
• Experience in Logistics/Freight Management.
• Proven leadership skills, credibility, team building, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
• Experience with business requirements development and use cases.
