Job summary

SIRIS is seeking a Project Manager to support an EHRM modernization project for the Department of Veterans Affairs in Waco, TX. The role reports to the Program Director and engages VA staff to support construction activities, generate PTRs, and serve as a client-side representative.

Required experience includes budget oversight, scheduling, and contract administration. A Bachelor's in Construction Management or related field is preferred, with a minimum of seven years in construction project

Qualifications

  • Minimum seven (7) years managing construction or renovation projects of similar size and complexity.
  • Ten (10) years of progressive construction project management experience may substitute for a degree.
  • Experience in healthcare or regulated environments is preferred.
  • Strong ability to oversee budgets, schedules, and contract changes.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee construction budget, cost accounting, and forecast accuracy.
  • Manage baseline schedule, project controls, and schedule analysis.
  • Administer construction contracts and change orders.
  • Coordinate testing, inspections, and quality assurance.
  • Lead progress meetings and document outcomes.
  • Serve as client-side representative and coordinate with COR, A/E teams, contractors, and facility stakeholders.

We are seeking a motivated Project Manager to join our teamin support of an EHRM modernization project for the Department of Veteran's Affairs in Waco, TX.This role reports to the Program Director and collaborates with VA client staff to support construction activities, generate reports, and serve as a client-side representative.

Role responsibilities should demonstrate:

  • Stakeholder coordination within occupied healthcare facilities

  • Construction financial management including budget monitoring and cost accounting
  • Construction scheduling and baseline schedule management
  • Project controls and schedule analysis
  • Administration of construction contract change orders
  • Budget forecasting and cost tracking
  • Review of contractor pay applications
  • Construction contract administration
  • Risk management and issue resolution
  • Claims analysis and resolution support
  • Testing and inspection coordination
  • Quality assurance and quality management
  • Communication, quality assurance, risk management, and schedule management planning
  • Progress meeting facilitation and documentation
  • Project documentation and correspondence management
  • Coordination with the COR, A/E teams, contractors, and facility stakeholders
  • Review of construction drawings, specifications, and contract documents
  • Preparation of Project Tracking Reports (PTR)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
Education Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a closely related field.

Consideration of Experience in Place of Education

Minimum ten (10) years of progressively responsible construction project management experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.

Required Years of Experience

Minimum seven (7) years managing construction or renovation projects of similar size, scope, and complexity, preferably within healthcare or other regulated environments.

The pay range for this role is:

90,000 - 115,000 USD per year (Waco, TX)
