Job summary

Del Ray Glass, Inc. is seeking a dynamic Project Manager to lead a diverse portfolio in the glass, glazing and paneling industry.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, process-oriented, and capable of managing resources across multiple projects. Qualifications

• Knowledge of the Construction Industry, Glass, Glazing and Paneling.
• 5-10+ years of Project Management experience.
• Experience with CRM applications and processes.
• Experience handling complex bids and projects.
• BS in Math, Engineering, Architecture or Building Construction preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the scope of work is 100% accurate to prevent miscommunication and rework.
• Work within hard bid, design/build, and construction management contracts.
• Use Spectrum to track projects and provide estimates.
• Negotiate final pricing with vendors.
• Submit RFIs, change orders, and resolve disputes with inspectors.
• Schedule work for multiple crews.
• Analyze projected vs actual costs on projects.
• Ensure safety, efficiency, and timely delivery of projects.
• Maintain profitability margins as estimated.
• Collaborate with the Estimator to review quotes and bid documents.
• Perform administrative tasks including subcontract agreements, RFIs, PCOs, and AIA payment requisitions.

Qualifications

1. Superior knowledge of the Construction Industry, Glass, Glazing and Paneling a must.
2. 5-10+ years of Project Management experience.
3. Superior in Construction Industry Systems, CRM Applications and Processes.
4. Experienced in handling complex leads, bids, and projects.
5. College degree preferred. BS in Math, Engineering, Architecture or Building Construction

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Ensure the scope of work is 100% accurate, to avoid miscommunication, errors, redoes, and the need for a second estimate.
2. Work within a hard bid, negotiate, design/build, and construction management type contracts.
3. Utilize construction related software (Spectrum) to track projects and provide estimates.
4. Negotiate final pricing with vendors.
5. Submit RFIs, change orders, track, and settle disputes with inspectors.
6. Schedule work for multiple crews.
7. Analyze projected versus actual costs on projects.
8. Ensure the project is managed safely, efficiently, and timely.
9. Ensure the project is managed to meet all profitability margins as estimated.
10. Collaborate with the Estimator. Review quotes and bid documents to ensure the project deliverables are met.
11. Perform various administrative tasks- including subcontract agreements, RFIs, PCOs and AIA format payment requisitions.

Expectations:

1. Full time, salaried exempt position with overtime potential.
2. Business hours are M-F, 8am-5pm, additional hours may be required on deadlines.
3. Comply with all company conduct guidelines.
