Job summary

Garney is seeking an experienced Project Manager with a background in water and wastewater construction. The successful candidate will oversee cost projections, scheduling, on-site supervision, and stakeholder relations to drive project success.

The role requires a bachelor's degree in a related field and 7–10 years of construction experience, with an emphasis on safety, cost control, and contract administration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or mechanical engineering or related field is required.
• 7–10 years of construction experience with project management responsibilities.
• Experience in water and wastewater construction is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost projections and Work in Progress for projects.
• Supervise on-site personnel and subcontractors.
• Plan and schedule project activities and milestones.
• Develop and maintain owner relations throughout the project.
• Negotiate and purchase materials as needed.
• Set and enforce safety expectations on the job site.
• Oversee project costs and budget adherence.
• Contract negotiation and administration.

What You Will Be Doing

• Managing cost and "Work in Progress" projections.
• Managing job site supervisory personnel.
• Planning and scheduling the project.
• Developing and maintaining owner relations.
• Negotiating and purchasing materials.
• Establishing and enforcing job site safety expectations.
• Managing project costs.
• Overseeing labor projections.Contract negotiation and administration.
