Candidates will be considered for the Project Manager I, II, or Senior Project Manager levels and placed within the division that best aligns with their experience, technical expertise, strengths, and project needs.

What You'll Do:
Project Managers areresponsible for theoverall planning, execution, financial performance,and successful deliveryof assigned constructionprojects.Working closely withclients, field leadership, subcontractors, and internalteams, you'll ensureprojects are completedsafely, efficiently,and profitably whiledeveloping future leaderswithin the organization. Responsibilities include:
- Lead all aspectsof project delivery, including safety, quality, procurement, scheduling, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and client satisfaction.
- Manage project financialperformance through forecasting, cash flow management, cost controls, changemanagement, and paymentcollections.
- Lead ProjectEngineers, Field Supervisors, and craft professionalsto successfully executecomplex construction projects.
- Develop and maintainstrong relationships withowners, clients, architects,engineers, subcontractors, suppliers, and projectpartners.
- Oversee preconstructionactivities, estimating,planning, project startup, and projectcloseout.
- Prepare and reviewproject proposals, conceptualestimates, detailed takeoffs, final pricing, andproject execution strategies.
- Supportbusiness development effortsthrough client engagement, marketing, bidding, andpursuit of newwork opportunities.
- Mentor and developProject Engineers, ProjectManagers, FieldSupervisors, and otherteam members.
- Drive a cultureof safety, accountability, continuous improvement, operationalexcellence, and exceptionalcustomer service.
Position Structure:
- Project Manager I: Leads complex projectswith support fromexperienced field leadership. Responsible for projectexecution, financial performance, client communication,and developing ProjectEngineers while supportingbusiness development.
- Project Manager II: Leads larger ormultiple projects,develops Project Engineersand Field Supervisors, drives project financialperformance, and playsa significant rolein client development, business growth, andmentoring future leaders.
- Senior Project Manager: Provides strategic leadershipacross major projectsand client relationships, develops Project Managersand operational leaders, and helps drivelong-term businessgrowth whiledelivering safe, profitablework.
What We'reLooking For:
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree inConstruction Management, Civil Engineering, MechanicalEngineering, ConstructionEngineering, or arelated discipline
- Equivalent technical orindustry experience maybeconsidered in lieuof a degree
- Demonstrated success leadingindustrial, mechanical,manufacturing, or heavyconstruction projects
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational,analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to buildcollaborative relationshipswith clients,field teams, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders
- Valid driver's licensewith an acceptabledriving record
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ yearsof progressively responsibleconstruction project managementexperience
- Experience managing projectsvalued at $5Mor greater
- Experience within oneor more of the followingsectors:
- Advanced Manufacturing andHigh-Tech Facilities
- Industrial Manufacturing
- Mechanical and ProcessPiping
- Hydropower and PowerGeneration
- Knowledge of construction safety and environmentalregulations
- Experience with MicrosoftOffice, Microsoft Projectand/or PrimaveraP6, Procore, Viewpoint, B2W,or comparable constructionsoftware
- Demonstrated experiencewith estimating, forecasting, change management, projectfinancial controls, andmentoring project teams
- This position is based out of our corporate office inVancouver, WA. Frequent travel or temporary relocation may be required to support JR Merit’s projects.
- This role requires the ability to utilize, maintain, and wear all PPE as required by JR Merit, the client, and any other applicable regulatory agency or management directive.
- At times, work may be performed at a job site where additional training, certifications, or clearances may be needed to comply with jobsite requirements.
- Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Salary Range (depending on skill level)
- Senior Project Manager:$155,250 - $172,500
Finalplacement and compensationwill be basedon experience, leadershipcapabilities, technicalexpertise, and demonstratedproject management success.
