Job summary

Flex is seeking a remote Project Manager based in the UK to support a spin-off into Axiom. You will manage multiple projects, ensure on-time delivery, and liaise with clients and internal teams to meet electrical and power distribution requirements.

The role requires an Electrical Engineering degree, PM experience, and UK work eligibility, with travel to the UK and Europe as needed. Flexible remote/hybrid work arrangements and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree is required.
• Experience with switchgear/Busbar/Modular solutions; Prince2 or APM/PPM is desirable.
• Project management experience is essential.
• PM certification would be advantageous.
• SMSTS / ECS
• Full UK driving license
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• Willingness to travel UK/Europe as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver Projects to specification, on time, on schedule, in line with the company standards of Quality and Safety and to budget to maximize the profits of the company and understanding of electrical principles and power distribution/generation.
• Manage multiple projects taking full ownership and responsibility.
• Implement and manage project changes and interventions to required timescales & cost restrictions.
• Control, monitor and manage assigned projects to include regular reporting against plans & where necessary intervening to ensure a timely delivery.
• Ensure effective, timely & appropriate solutions are developed, communicated & implemented to fulfil the business requirement.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with the client, colleagues and any other associated third party.
• Ensure project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Return monthly applications & invoicing to the financial team on time and prepare final accounts with Accounts department.
• Provide concise & accurate reports to the Senior Projects Team Lead as and when required.
• Promote, develop, and always extend any business of the company and in all respects conform to and comply with the proper and reasonable directions and regulations of the company.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, Axiom, with the spin planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support Axiom, a company focused on critical digital infrastructure and delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centers and other mission-critical applications.To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a new remote Project Manager employee to be based in the UK.

What a typical day looks like:

The experience/qualification we are looking to add to our team:

• Electrical Engineering degree

• Demonstrated experience in switchgear/Busbar/Modular solutions and/or Prince 2 or APM/PPM is desirable

• Project Management experience

• Project Management certification would be advantageous.

• Full UK driving license

• Eligibility to work in the UK

• Flexibility to do UK Travel (some in a month) / European Travel (some in a year) as needed
