The Program Manager monitors program performance, prepares and delivers customer presentations, and ensures that all program milestones are met on time and within scope in a dynamic aerospace and defense manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and review of Statements of Work (SOW) for potential programs to ensure clarity of scope, deliverables, and requirements.
  • Support Engineering and Sales teams in estimating costs and determining resource requirements for potential programs.
  • Confirm and maintain accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs) and program schedules for assigned programs.
  • Monitor vendor activity and performance to ensure timely delivery of materials and services in support of assigned programs.
  • Act as a liaison with Engineering to ensure accurate BOMs, resource planning, and technical alignment for assigned programs.
  • Monitor, track, and enforce program schedules to ensure milestones and deadlines are consistently met.
  • Prepare and deliver professional presentations for customer meetings related to assigned programs.
  • Work closely with customers to understand requirements, provide updates, and address program‑related questions or concerns.
  • Attend internal and external meetings to coordinate program activities and ensure alignment across departments.
  • Follow and support manufacturing processes to see products through production, ensuring programs transition smoothly from planning to manufacturing.
  • Adapt to changing priorities and wear multiple hats as needed to support successful program delivery.
Essential Skills
  • Program management experience with responsibility for planning, coordinating, and executing programs.
  • Project management skills, including schedule development, tracking, and enforcement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Project for creating and managing project schedules.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, for reporting, analysis, and documentation.
  • Ability to prepare and deliver clear, professional presentations for internal and customer meetings.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably with exposure to aerospace and defense programs.
  • Strong coordination and communication skills to work effectively with Engineering, Sales, Vendors, and Customers.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and programs simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Knowledge of QuickBooks is preferred and considered a plus.
  • Experience working in a small to mid‑size company environment.
  • Comfort working closely with customers and representing the organization in meetings.
  • Ability to take ownership of programs from scope definition through manufacturing.
  • Interest in working in a growing company with strong stability and low attrition.
Work Environment
