Job summary

Clark Construction Group, LLC is seeking a senior project professional for a leadership role in our United States operations. The position focuses on contract administration, procurement, schedule oversight, and financial reporting across large-scale projects.

  • 4+ years of construction experience; GC on large-scale projects preferred.

  • Understanding of strategic, operational, and financial aspects of a project.
  • Ability to make timely and effective decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead contract administration, change orders, procurement, schedule, and financial reporting.
  • Secure permits and verify insurance coverage for subcontractors.
  • Facilitate project meetings to coordinate work activity.
  • Lead, train, and develop project team members.
  • Prepare and submit monthly job status reports outlining project priorities and issues.
  • Lead project close-out, including turnover of manuals and warranties and preparation of final payment documents for subcontractors.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with owners, engineering, and design firms.
  • Establish deadlines and monitor project progress.
  • Drive a culture of safety on the project site.
  • Support acquisition of new work through proposals and presentations.
  • Provide leadership to foster an environment of inclusion and diversity.
  • Identify, hire, and retain outstanding talent.
  • Exceed stakeholder expectations by anticipating their needs, desires, and goals.

Basic Qualifications
  • Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, civil, architecture, construction management, or a related discipline.
  • 4+ years of construction experience; experience with a general contractor on large‑scale projects preferred.
  • 2+ years leading, developing, and motivating teams.
  • Understanding of the strategic, operational, and financial components of a construction project.
  • Ability to make timely and effective decisions.
  • Experience managing projects successfully from start to finish.
  • Skilled at developing and negotiating relationships with owners and trade contractors.
  • Strong work ethic, leadership, and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • DBIA and/or LEED accreditation.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment

Active, hands‑on role requiring frequent standing, navigating uneven terrain, stairs, ladders, and hoists. Requires full range of motion, including bending, kneeling, and reaching. May lift up to 25 pounds routinely and up to 50 pounds occasionally. On site exposure to varying weather, moderate to loud noise levels, and confined or elevated areas. Desk work may involve prolonged periods of sitting for tasks like computer work, document review, and meetings.

Compensation

Base salary range: $83,200‑166,000 (may vary based on education, experience, skills, and location). Includes bonus potential and a comprehensive benefits package.
