We are specifically looking for someone with experience managing Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL)

Overview

Work as a member of an Agile Project Management team to execute project management tasks leveraging PMI principles for managing various phases of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), including Planning, Implementation, Testing, and Documentation; analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement; create, track, and ensure timely delivery of project deliverables and documentation; build cross-team coalitions; and support change management activities.

Responsibilities

The following reflects management’s definition of essential functions for the Project Management team but does not restrict the tasks that may be assigned. Project managers may be specialized in one of the following areas: Integrated Schedule Management, Risk & Issue Management, Change Management, Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) Management. Additional duties and responsibilities may be assigned to this job at any time due to reasonable accommodation or other reasons.

  • Apply PMI Project Management principles for managing, communicating, and reporting on project goals, schedule, scope, risks, and changes for client deliverables.
  • Interface directly with client project managers and technical staff.
  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Work with technical staff to interpret, organize and draft supporting documents for client meetings and presentations.
  • Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data setsto create reports and professional documents that communicate project status to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analyze business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop and distribute documentation to internal and external stakeholders to build understanding of technical concepts.
  • Work with team management toprioritizebusiness and information needs.
  • Use judgement to select the best communication medium to convey content; may include use of graphics, diagrams, charts, etc.
  • Standardization of content with a high level of attention to detail allowing for delivery of documentation with minimal error.
  • Participate in daily Agile team meetings and client and milestone meetings to maintain ongoing awareness of project status.
  • Demonstrate problem solving skills when facing impediments.

Specialized Tasks by Position Include:

  • Record and manage project tasks and resource requirements in an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Routinely update full-scale project plans, report on project status, and forecast whether project will be delivered on-time.
  • Design and implement and overall risk management process for the program, including documentation and analysis of risk impacts and mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare risk management reports and communicate external risks to clients and government stakeholders.
  • Monitor, track, and report on changes to technical requirements, business processes, and integrated technology and systems across the project; communicate changes to project scope and schedule as a result of identified changes.
  • Perform CDRL management and document configuration management support, including document and versioning control.
  • Coordinate with technical, operational, and management team members to create and deliver CDRL items.
  • Ensure CDRL quality when deliverables arrive, to include inspecting for proper markings; review Government CDRL responses and ensures comment clarity and quality; assist teams to make and adjudicate comments in CDRL workflows.

Education/Experience:This position requires a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution with seven (7) to ten (10) years of professional experience.

  • PMP Certification
  • Experience with Project Management principles associated with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), specifically Planning, Implementation, Testing, Documentation
  • Experience working in Agile Project Management Environments
  • Experience in projects involving direct client delivery
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio)
  • Use of Atlassian Tool Suite, Jira and Confluence.
