Elder Research Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of MANTECH International Corporation seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Manager to join our team in Arlington, VA. This is a hybrid position preferably located in the Washington DC area.

Responsibilities

• The ideal Project Manager will also have an understanding and appreciation for data, analytics, and technology, and will have been involved in the design, build, test, deploy phases of data analytics and data science products and solutions.
• Internally, they regularly interface with technical data scientists, data engineers, data analysts, and software engineers to aid in business analysis, requirements gathering, technology design and delivery, and quality assurance.
• Externally, they regularly interface with clients at numerous levels of an organization—program managers, stakeholders, end-users, data owners, analysts, IT groups, and management.
• Facilitate and lead the tactical delivery of analytics projects.

Minimum Qualifications

• PMP Certification (or willingness to receive a PMP certification within one year of hire).
• Multi-year experience with leading projects within industry standard project management frameworks (i.e., PMP, Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
• Multi-year experience in the consulting industry (technology, management, strategy) and managing client engagements with either internal or external clients.
• Experience with government contracting or experience working with federal government agencies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree in data science, data analytics, math, statistics, engineering, computer science, or business administration.
• Involved in team efforts to design and deploy data and analytics solutions that involve querying databases, analyzing data, building data pipelines, and applying data science concepts such as supervised and unsupervised, text mining, and graph analytics.
• Agile Certified.
• Multi-year experience growing and expanding federal government portfolios.

Clearance Requirements

• Must have an IRS Public Trust w/a Full Background Investigation.
