Job summary

GTT in the United States is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the delivery of large and complex technology programmes for enterprise customers. You will shepherd projects from pre-sales and design through to operational handover, coordinating internal teams and third-party partners.

You will manage multiple stakeholders, establish governance structures, track progress, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement across project management practices while mentoring junior

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience in complex technology environments.
• Experience managing budgets up to $5M+.
• Experience leading large, complex customer programmes with multiple stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Strong governance, risk management, change control, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with Microsoft Project and structured project management methodologies.
• Prince II Practitioner, APMP, or equivalent qualification.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects valued up to and above $5M across technology and managed service solutions.
• Typically manage up to three concurrent projects.
• Own projects from pre-sales engagement through to operational handover.
• Establish and lead Project Boards and virtual project teams.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all project communications and stakeholder engagement.
• Facilitate regular project meetings and produce status reports and governance documentation.
• Develop Project Initiation Documents, including scope and success factors.
• Monitor progress using project tracking tools and methodologies.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks, issues, actions, and dependencies.
• Manage project budgets, cost tracking, and forecasting.
• Ensure adherence to change control procedures and governance requirements.
• Produce customer-specific documentation and report effort against contracted services.
• Support QA activities and governance reviews during delivery.
• Mentor junior project management professionals and collaborate with Bid Management teams.

• Track and report project effort against contracted services.
• Support quality assurance activities and governance reviews throughout project delivery.
• Manage project escalations and facilitate timely resolution of issues.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of project management methodologies, templates, and best practices.
• Support product launches and knowledge sharing across the Project Management team.
• Mentor and support junior members of the Project Management function.
• Partner with Bid Management teams to support large and complex customer opportunities.

• Degree qualification or significant professional experience within an IT environment.
• 5+ years Project Management experience within an ISP Managed Services, Enterprise Networking, or ICT environment.
• Experience managing project budgets up to and above $5M.
• Experience leading large, complex customer programmes involving multiple stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Strong project governance, risk management, change control, and stakeholder management experience.
• Experience using Microsoft Project and structured project management methodologies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Experience managing project forecasting, budgeting, reporting, and escalation processes.
• Strong organisational, prioritisation, and time management skills.
• Experience mentoring and supporting junior project management professionals.
• Experience in Telecommunications, Technology, or complex B2B services environments.
• Experience with SD-WAN and Security solutions.
• Prince II Practitioner, APMP, or another recognised project management qualification.
• Additional business qualifications.
