Job description

Meridian is seeking a Project Manager to coordinate and manage the production and delivery of kiosk systems from order through shipment. This role ensures that manufacturing schedules, inventory levels, and shipping timelines are aligned to meet customer delivery commitments.

The Project Manager will serve as the primary internal coordinator between manufacturing, inventory, logistics, and clients, ensuring projects remain on schedule and issues are proactively addressed.

Key Role Responsibilities
  • Project Coordination: Manage project timelines from order confirmation through final shipment. Track project milestones and ensure production schedules align with client delivery dates. Monitor progress across manufacturing, assembly, and logistics teams.
  • Manufacturing & Production Scheduling: Coordinate with production teams to schedule builds according to shipping deadlines. Identify and resolve scheduling conflicts or production delays. Monitor manufacturing throughput and adjust schedules when necessary.
  • Inventory & Materials Management: Work with inventory and purchasing teams to confirm parts and materials are available for upcoming builds. Track inventory requirements tied to specific projects. Flag potential shortages that could impact production timelines.
  • Shipping & Logistics: Coordinate shipping schedules and delivery dates with logistics partners. Ensure products are packaged and prepared according to project timelines. Monitor outbound shipments and communicate delivery expectations to clients.
  • Client Communication: Participate in scheduled calls with clients to provide project updates. Communicate timelines, progress, and potential risks. Serve as a point of contact for project-related questions.
  • Reporting & Documentation: Maintain project tracking documentation and status reports. Provide internal updates on project status and production readiness. Track issues and coordinate resolution across departments.
REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • 3+ years experience in project management, manufacturing coordination, or operations management
  • Strong organizational and scheduling skills
  • Experience working with production schedules and supply chains
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
BENEFICIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE “Preferred”
  • Experience in manufacturing, electronics, or kiosk/industrial equipment production
  • Familiarity with ERP, inventory management, or production tracking systems
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management experience
