Job summary

Motive Companies, LLC in California seeks a Project Manager to lead complex renewable energy installations, including commercial solar, BESS, and EV charging infrastructure, from initiation to completion.

You will coordinate with sales, development, engineering, supply chain, construction, and safety teams, maintaining strong client communication and delivering regular reports on project progress, cost, and schedule.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of project management or coordination experience in construction or real estate development.
• Experience in Commercial Rooftop Solar, Canopy/Carport Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems, or EV Charging Infrastructure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex renewable energy installation projects from initiation through completion.
• Communicate with clients weekly (often daily) regarding project performance and deliver reports.
• Deliver projects ahead of schedule, under budget, and to high quality by collaborating across sales, development, engineering, supply chain, construction, accounting, and safety.
• Monitor expenditures against budget and contract and work with internal teams to identify trends and drive improvements.

The Project Manager will lead complex, client-focused renewable energy projects and serves as the central point of accountability for delivering exceptional results for clients and company.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate complex renewable energy installation projects including commercial solar, battery storage systems (BESS), and electric vehicle charging infrastructure from initiation through completion.
• Communicate on a weekly, and often daily, basis with assigned clients regarding project performance; prepare and deliver regular project-specific and program-level reports.
• Deliver exceptional results to clients and the company by delivering projects ahead of schedule, under budget, and built to the highest standard of quality by collaborating with colleagues across sales, development, engineering, supply chain, construction, accounting, and safety.
• Monitor project expenditures against budget and contract and work with internal teams to identify trends and drive improvements.

Experience

• 3+ years of project management or coordination experience within a construction or real estate development role.
• Prior experience in Commercial Rooftop Solar, Canopy/Carport Solar, Battery Energy Storage Systems, or EV Charging Infrastructure is preferred. Consideration will also be given to experience in similar industries such as telecommunications, transportation, or other specialized development and construction.

Pay: $100,000 - $120,000/year
