Job description

As Project Manager within our Data & Analytics team, you play an instrumental role in the realization of this vision by managing a number of projects related to the delivery of our data & analytics platforms, data assets and data products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead project delivery from beginning to end;
• Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with management and stakeholders;
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents following the company’s standard;
• Draft and submit budget proposals, and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary as per defined process;
• Ensure that project meets its deliverables in agreed schedule, as per the scope, within stipulated budget and as per the quality standards;
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team lead and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion;
• Ensure project or service scope and deliverables are defined and agreed with all relevant parties;
• Liaise with business and IT Teams on an ongoing basis;
• Diagnose and evaluate potential risks and issues throughout the project and execute appropriate plans to mitigate them. Reports regularly to the Team Lead and Stakeholders with regard to risks
• You have experience in delivering Data & Analytics deliverables (building data platform, ingestion of data assets, reporting, data science, data exploration, AI/ML,

• Knowledge of the Azure data stack and SAP and BW4 is a plus
• Knowledge of train planning, passenger transport, train maintenance, HR, Finance, Marketing & Sales processes is a plus
• Knowledge of ESG and CSRD is a plus

• You can facilitate Steerco, project update meetings and guide resources.
• You have the ability to communicate, present and produce documentation on various levels for differing audiences

Conformity criteria

• You have 15+ years experience with project management
• You have 10+ years experience in delivery of projects in the Data & Analytics area
• You have 2+ years experience in the rail passenger transportation sector
• You communicate fluently in Dutch, French and English (spoken and written). Dutch or French as a mother tongue or at least C level. Other language at least B2. English B2.
• You can physically come to Ypto offices min 2d per week
• You have an active Project Management certification (PM² and/or PMBOK).
• You have a Lean Six Sigma certification.
• You have legal authorisation to work in Belgium.
